Hi
Not really sure how to explain this, but anyways,

When sending and receiving voice clips on msn, I know that the clip is automatically played when it arrives, but how do you play it again? It says play/stop, but I can't seem to get it to do anything. I am not sure what I have to do, or what I have to press to get a clip to lay again.

Any ideas?
Thanks.

To be able to play it again you need to move with your arrow keys on play. If you go a few letters right usually on the letter A of play and then press enter it will play again. You can also save them by doing the same thing with the save option.

Ok thanks, but, that is the other thing, whilever I am in the conversation window, my arrows don't say anything. none of the usual reading text commands work while in the conversation window, not sure why though.

Maybe you have got an older version of jaws or any other screen reader that doesn't support the latest live messenger. Also for a better experience from the conversation window go to tools, and then formatting and disable the two toolbars there.
Hope it helps.

I find jaws very difficult with msn.

Yeah, I have Jaws 8.0, which I thought would work pretty good with msn, and it does do most things, but I dont think it works as well as it should.

It works perfect. There is even a help file in Jaws that explains some of the main key strokes to work it.

Hmm, I have been through that help file. and Jaws does work pretty well with most stuff, I only have trouble with it while in the conversation window. Other than that is works fine.

here's a suggestion. I've had a problem like yours and it turned out to be because I'd accidently checked an option to display MSN on top of other windows. If Jaws isn't working properly in conversation windows, then it might be worth looking to see if that option is checked.

Ok thanks, I will go check it out. Where will I wind that? under options?

I think I may have found it. I have now unchecked that, and the conversation window is working better. The arrows still aren't working in there, but I can at least get it to read by holding down the control key and using the arrows.
Thanks for your help.
